This morning I read about Apple's boasting of their new OS called Tiger. That's fine if they created a new piece, but no, they had to attack Microsoft in order to get attention for it. Unreal. Low grade mentality and tactics if you ask me. MS's Longhorn will beat Apple's Tiger hands down anytime.

Yahoo! News - Scientist Sees Space Elevator in 15 Years
Yahoo! News - Scientist Sees Space Elevator in 15 Years
As the article states, "President Bush wants to return to the moon and put a man on Mars. But scientist Bradley C. Edwards has an idea that's really out of this world: an elevator that climbs 62,000 miles into space."
Now what is so out of this world? I can imagine that happening. Such an elevator would probably dock at a space station after having travelled up all those miles. I have seen this concept in the form of animation on Pat Rawling's website. An impressive idea and one which I concede to be, the next logical step forward in space advancement.

football match
I am sorry Portugal won the match against England. It had to be a penalty win. England put up a very very good fight, scoring their 2nd goal against Portugal in the last 4 minutes of game.

before midnight
Well, the heatwave seems to have suddenly subsided. Read in the news today that we had some haze due to the bushfires from neighbouring Indonesia...so I suspect the entrapment of heat on our island was due to the smoke which had billowed across.

heatwave
The heat here really is unbearable, especially these few days. Might I add, that without a decent fan or air-conditioner, one might be doomed to the throws of heat and humidity. Nice little city-state we have here, but apart from the mind boggling prices of property and vehicle owernership, the weather over here is enough to keep people away! Temperature today reads about 32 degrees celcius.

good morning oh my gawd it is 6am
Oh my goodness I cannot believe I spent hours playing RedAlert2 tonight when I should have been in bed! Was so bloody tired and want to attend morning church service later. This gives me about three hours worth of shut eye left to go. Well, I am not so sure why I am even blogging this down...maybe someday I will read it again and laugh. Bleah.

First pitt stop
Having some dinner right now as I start on this blog. Do not have anything constructive to add at this moment as my arms are stretched out over the plates of food, to type on the keyboard.
